Progress Overview: Activities A1–A5
| 31.05.2025 |
Since the initiation of the RemWork4SMEs project, all planned activities have progressed in line with the work plan and time schedule.
- Activity 1 and Activity 2 laid the foundational groundwork through the development of the communication and dissemination strategy, the establishment of a unified brand identity, and the launch of the project’s website and LinkedIn presence. These communication channels are being actively used to engage stakeholders and promote project outputs.
- Activity 3 focused on conducting a comprehensive needs analysis to assess the experiences and challenges faced by SMEs and remote workers in partner countries. Through structured surveys and focus groups, the partnership gathered qualitative and quantitative data, which were subsequently compiled into a final comparative report. The findings directly informed the instructional design and content priorities for the training materials.
- Activity 4, involved the creation of the didactic framework and the development of four microcredentials targeting key competencies for healthy remote work. The microcredentials cover mental and physical well-being, work-life balance, remote communication, and productivity and ergonomics. Each module includes real-life case studies, interactive activities, and self-assessment tools to ensure relevance, engagement, and practical application.
- Activity 5 is currently underway and encompasses both the piloting of the microcredentials and the development of a complementary set of gamified training tools. The piloting phase includes the active engagement of learners and stakeholders in testing the training materials and providing structured feedback for final refinements. In parallel, the partnership is designing a series of Minecraft Education Edition (M:EE) Escape Rooms, each dedicated to a specific soft skill relevant to remote work, such as time management, stress reduction, collaboration, and inclusion. These gamified environments aim to foster experiential learning in an accessible, engaging format, particularly suitable for younger and digitally fluent audiences.
The project remains on track, with strong coordination among partners and high levels of engagement from target groups.
